This was a commission for a hospital and I was interested in bringing in windows to the outside world into this enviroment.
Sussex with its ancient pathway and plentiful landscape evoked a timelessness quality for me. Over a period of a year, waiting for the light, I went walking, looking for photographs that you could stop and rest in, be in for a while. Reminders of our place and connections with the land.
