I have been interested in philosophy since about the age of 12 or 13 when the question how I ever know that I wasn t dreaming, led me to look at Descartes. I have been hooked on the subject ever since.
My work has included analytical metaphysics, the philosophy of language, epistemology and logic. I have also done some work of a technical or mathematical character, and have written on the later philosophy of Wittgenstein
